POSITION DESCRIPTION
Capital City Club is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Administrative & Merchandise Assistant. The selected candidate will work closely with the Director of Golf, Director of Retail, and Head Golf Professionals to ensure the highest level of service for the Capital City membership and their guests. A successful candidate will be partially responsible for all administrative tasks internally and externally, merchandising duties, and team communications. The ideal candidate will have experience at a high-end private or resort facility, or other applicable administrative/merchandise experience.

Founded in 1883, the Capital City Club is among the premier private clubs in the South. The club has a rich history in support of golf for its members, as well as local, state and national golf associations. The club has 2,600 members within all membership classifications and over 2,300 golf members with registered handicaps. There are three distinct club facilities; City Club in downtown Atlanta, a fine dining and catering venue; Brookhaven, a multiple use facility with a championship 18-hole golf course, 3,600 square foot golf shop, 11 tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pool, and extensive food and beverage operations; and Crabapple, a championship 18-hole golf course, 1,800 square foot golf shop and clubhouse. Capital City is open year-round and hosts a full calendar of club, golf, tennis and holiday events.

Essential Responsibilities
- Promote and ensure a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for members and guests.
- Provide administrative support to Director of Golf, Director of Retail, and Head Professionals
- Duties include but are not limited to staff and member communications, committee and board communication, event scheduling, and financial recording.
- Manage the Golf Master Calendar of events.
- Coordinate bi-monthly club newsletter information and weekly golf email blasts.
- Support the retail operation by meeting and communicating with vendors and placing merchandise orders.
- Place and manage custom orders for members and guests utilizing Golf Genius Golf Shop.
- Execute all daily golf shop operations including sales, golf charges, and communications.
- Receive and track soft goods inventory.
- Merchandise the golf shop, including setting up and changing of displays.
- Utilize Northstar POS for sales and inventory management, and Microsoft Office for publications.
- Perform monthly inventory of golf shop merchandise.
- Coordinate with Director of Retail and CCC Admin Team on golf charges and inventory procedures, to ensure accuracy.
Compensation Benefits
- Hourly Rate ($20-$25), based on experience and average of 40-hour week
- Annual Bonus ($500 to $3,000 annually)
- Total Paid Comp Range: $42,000 to $55,000 annually
