Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensures adequate staffing levels for all functions.
- Hires, trains, supervises, schedules, and evaluates banquet service staff.
- Coordinating food service between the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Attends weekly staff meetings.
- Enforcing club rules, regulations, and policies to maintain a high standard of service.
- Ensures that all banquet staff are well-groomed and in proper uniform.
- Holds pre-function meeting with servers before service begins through lineups.
- Maintaining a high level of visibility by greeting members and staff daily.
- Ensuring the appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.
- Assisting in managing inventories of F&B service equipment and supplies.
- Conducts monthly inventories of china, glass and silver
- Ensuring accurate billing of food and beverage charges in your area of responsibility.
- Maintaining necessary certifications such as ServSafe, TIPS, and Basic First Aid.
- Participating in training programs as required by the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Upholding high standards of conduct and character while serving the best interests of our members.
- Performing your duties objectively, with due diligence and professional care, in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Undertaking any other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and effectively communicate with employees.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement optimal courses of action.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a Private Club, Restaurant, or Hotel is preferred
- ServSafe and TIPS certification is a plus.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
